I don't understand the purpose of putting this on the passenger side. You've completely blocked the c-pillar and view of checking your blind spot. Makes more sense to put this on the driver side. It's dumb if not downright dangerous to put this on the passenger side.

I wish I would’ve gotten a Sherpa Roof Rack instead of my Crappy Victory 4x4 Rack, can’t fit my Baja Designs S8 40” light bar and they’re saying it’s not being properly installed lmao how do you not properly install a light bar with two bolts on the rack bracket and the other two holding the light ? It’s not rocket science lol anyways I’m looking to sell the rack if anybody wants to get it off my hands for 50% off. Won’t ever purchase another product from Victory 4x4

I just don’t like how it sits above your rack. Is there away to mount it flush close to the side of the rack? Perhaps with the L bracket?

Seems like way to much work to gain a couple of inches of lift,, I think I’ll keep the original height and just invest in much better shocks

Question my alpha Rex pro on my tundra I got brand new leds not even a week ago and they are dim not bright move them around to make sure they are in the right place but it’s still too dim. Any thought ?

Mine is bone stock but still goes everywhere.

I have a 2014 Trail Edition with 178K miles with the manual shift knob too. My vehicle actually engages into 4H and 4L easily, but the green "4WD" light blinks and the red "4LO" light doesn't come on at all. I did some troubleshooting on a steep dirt trail and the green light would stay blinking even if I switched back and forth between 2H and 4H. It would actually switch to 2H as only the rear wheels would spin on a steep uphill. But, I'd move the lever to 4H and 4LO and the truck will climb right up, but again the green light would blink and the red light would not come on. With more troubleshooting, the only way I can get the blinking green light to stop is switching back to 2H and turning off the ignition and pulling the key. I re-insert the key and turn the truck back on the light is off. But, if I try the same thing while in 4H or 4LO, turning the truck off with a blinking green light and re-inserting the key and starting it back up, the green light still blinks and the red "4LO" does not come on. I'm going to take a look at these switches. Thanks!

I recently went through this. Tried to get an alignment and mine were all seized ('21 4Runner). Had to replace the LCAs and all cam bolts. It was a nightmare sourcing the rear cam bolts as there's a national shortage and they're backordered many months from Toyota. I managed to track them down though. Anyway... Toyota needs to wake the hell up and find a better way to align their vehicles. These bolts have been rusting and seizing and failing for decades and Toyota doesn't care. At least provide stainless bolts/eccentric cam washers to help stave off rust. Or find a better design for setting camber, caster, etc. I'm actually on the fence with buying a new Toyota going forward. My 4Runner has rusted so badly and I live in California. Not just the frame and LCAs, but the paint is awful and there's a ton of surface rust on painted panels on mine too.

Mine is lifted 3" and has aboit 5/8" of lean (driver side is lower). Do you think a rear spring spacer and adjustable front suspension will help?

I had to laugh when you said that using a RTT was an "elevated experience." I do think that trips like that really help figure out what works best for a hardcore overlanding adventure. Plus, sometimes, it's fun just to get out and enjoy a simple camping trip, especially with a loving wife, a loyal dog and the occasional good friend along for the excursion, it doesn't get much better than that. Good stuff man. I just did a 2 week 3,000 mile trip starting Memorial day weekend. A week of which I spent in Northern MN. Drove from Minneapolis to Chippewa National Forest then up to Superior National Forest. Stopped in Ely, and made my way through SNF out to the coast in Gran Marais. Awesome trail exploration every day and epic dispersed lakeside campsites almost every night. Spent a day checking out the North Shore down to Duluth where I spent a couple nights in a hotel before heading East to the UP. Minnesota is an AWESOME state for overlanders. I loved it there. Highly recommend.

I just picked up the Finn Fabb panels and top shelf, and honestly I hate them. The rivnut mounts are in the middle of MOLLE slots which makes it near impossible to mount most MOLLE bags. A terrible design. Instead, they should have placed them at the cross section of the bars, like other panels. Also, once you mount a rivnut, it makes it impossible to switch the configuration and mount MOLLE there, since the nut is sticking out the back of the panel.
